DTS takes Quality serious and employs a series of QA/QC checks throughout the entire process. Beginning at the initiation of a new job, we carefully check all customer supplied inputs, conduct multiple quality checks thru the design process and provide a comprehensive QC inspection of the final data package. DTS CAM Engineers utilize Tibor Darvis software with custom scripts to execute an automated and thorough QC of the CAM files, prior to releasing the project for fabrication.
All DTS boards are fabricated in ISO9000 certified PCB fabrication facilities!
DTS has a 50+ point QA Checklist that is completed on every job.
QA Checklist items include:
- All signal lines are checked for shorts and opens
- Board dimensions meet fab drawing specifications
- Impedance layers: TDR verification of all controlled layers
- Surface finish, plating, soldermask are free of cosmetic defects
- Silkscreen clearly identifies all components, channel numbers, etc
- Reference designators are present and correct
- Polarity markings will be visible after component placement for all polarized components
- Countersunk and counter bore holes properly machined
- Filled vias are flat and properly plated (if applicable)
- All Power and Ground planes are properly isolated and leakage free
- All mounting and alignment pin holes for the DUT and specialty
components are gauge pin inspected and meet fab drawing specifications
- Stiffener mounts properly and does not cause any interference or shorting
- 40+ additional verification steps are completed prior to shipping
DTS stands behind its products and warrants all boards to be free of electrical or
mechanical defects for a period of 90 days after shipment!
